Shift management
Creating a New Shift for Per Diem, Contract, and Home Health

Add a New Shift

In the Open Shifts section, click Add New.

Choose the relevant facility and click Add Shift Requirement.

​
Enter Shift Details
-
Select the date mode (either multiple dates or a date range).

Enter the warning zone, number of staff required, and shift rate. Optionally, set a rush rate and provide additional shift details (e.g., CNA required).

​
Save the Shift Requirement

Click Save Requirement to add the shift.
View the Shift
-
The new shift requirement will now appear in your shift list and will be visible in the app.

You’ve successfully created and posted a new shift!




Approve a Pending Shift

Post Open Shift
-
Once you post an open shift, it will appear in the mobile app where staff can apply directly.

​
View Applied Shifts
-
Staff applications will show up in the Pending portal. You'll see the shift details, including the staff member, facility, date, time, and shift type.

Move Shift to Awaiting Approval
-
After reviewing the application, click Awaiting to move the shift to the approval stage. The shift is now awaiting facility approval.​​​​​

Approve Shift

Once the facility approves the shift, check the box and click Approve. The shift will now show with clock-in and clock-out times.

Add Differential and Finalize
-
If applicable, add a differential amount.

Click Create, and the shift will now be moved to Approved status.

The shift is now approved and ready for your staff to view!




Managing Complete and Closed Shifts

Shift Completed Tab
-
After a staff member clocks out, the shift will appear under the Shift Completed tab.

Here, you can view the timesheet uploaded by the staff and the facility confirmation.

Upload Timesheet and Confirm Facility

If the staff has not uploaded the timesheet, you can upload it manually by clicking View Details.

Facility confirmation will be done through the WorkOS portal. Once confirmed, it will be marked as checked.

Move Shift to Closed
-
Once the facility confirms the shift and the timesheet is uploaded, check the box and click Close Shift.

The shift will then move to the Shift Closed tab.

Shift Closed Tab
-
A shift in this tab means the timesheet has been uploaded, the facility confirmed attendance, and the shift has been paid.
​

​
The shift is now fully processed and closed!
